Charitable Giving

The people of Zone Centrix make a choice to give back to the community through charitable contributions of time and money to worthy organizations. We donate a portion of the profits from every project to worthy charities dedicated to the development of youth, serving the victims of natural disasters, and helping distressed and suffering people around the world.

As a Zone Centrix client, you may choose to direct a portion of our contributions to the charity of your choice. You may choose from any of the charities with whom we have established relationships, listed below. If you would like us to consider a charity not listed, please talk to us about it during the course of our services.

Grameen Foundation
This truly unique organization uses the principles of micro-financing to help poverty stricken families around the world. The concept rings true to entrepreneurs everywhere – empowering poor but otherwise industrious individuals to help themselves out of terrible situations.

From the foundation’s website:
“Grameen Foundation's mission is to empower the world's poorest people to lift themselves out of poverty with dignity through access to financial services and to information.”

“Inspired by the work of Grameen Bank in Bangladesh, Grameen Foundation was created to help share the Grameen philosophy and accelerate the impact of microfinance on the world’s poorest people. Started in 1976 by Professor Muhammad Yunus with a mere $27 from his own pocket, Grameen Bank today serves more than six million poor families with loans, savings, insurance and other services. The bank is fully owned by its clients and has been a model for microfinance institutions around the world.

“Although they are independent organizations, Grameen Foundation and Grameen Bank maintain an enduring relationship. Grameen Foundation replicates the success of Grameen Bank internationally by supporting microfinance institutions that embody its vision and values. Professor Yunus is also a founding and current member of Grameen Foundation’s board of directors.” (Source)

Everyday Successes

Small Machine Shop Receives Hefty Bonus
A small two-man machine shop was experiencing difficult times in Marysville, California. They didn't know they were located within a California enterprise zone. With a little help from Zone Centrix, this sole propriety secured a $19,000 tax refund that was completely unexpected -- taxes he had overpaid during the past few years while unaware that his businesses was already qualified.

Mortgage Lender Saves Hundreds of Thousands
We recently completed a retroactive tax credit analysis under the California enterprise zone program for this lender in southern Callifornia. With a pool of 30 employees to evaluate, we secured tax credits of $170,000 from 2008 and 2009 and anticipate more than $100,000 in additional tax credit to be generated by wages paid to qualifying employees in upcoming years.

Small Chain - Big Tax Refund
One of our very first Taco Bell clients, this regional group of restaurants enjoyed two locations within a California Enterprise Zone. They were located within this zone for years before one of our representatives stopped in to talk about the benefits they were missing.

Within a few months, we completed a full retroactive tax credit analysis covering the prior four tax years. Soon after that, the owner of this group received four large tax refund checks totaling more than $100,000!

Rx Staffing has found the Work Opportunity Tax Credit program easy to coordinate and the tax credits add up surprisingly fast! You won’t find a more committed group to work with.
